Majorca from the sea
the essence of the mediterranean
Only a few landscapes are as impressive as the coastline of Majorca seen from the sea with its hidden coves, white sand beaches and turquoise waters. The Tramuntana forest by the edge of the cliffs (a World Heritage Site in its own right) and stunning sunsets. We invite you to discover them sailing the waters of the island’s south coast on a traditional Llaüt from Majorca.
The sailor experience starts with a seaside, gourmet breakfast by Majorcan chef Marga Coll and includes a lunch that constitutes itself a whole trip through the Spanish and local gastronomy, paired with the best champagne and a Gran Meliá amenities kit to ensure an unforgettable sail.
This very Mediterranean experience starts at 9AM on our way to the Gran Meliá de Mar. Once there, our Lady in Red will accompany you to our very own breakwater where you will enjoy a five course Mallorquin breakfast by awarded chef Marga Coll to before boarding.
At around 11AM we will accompany you to the hotel beach where the captain and barman are already waiting for you. Prepare yourself for the amazing coves, seafloor and landscapes that you are about to see, true Mediterranean hidden gems.
We want you to focus on enjoying the day, relaxing, dipping in the sea and of course, sunbathing. The gastronomic part could not possibly be left out and we will present you with an assortment of typical Spanish dishes with a Majorcan twist (serrano ham, “cocas” and “ensaimadas” amongst others) as well as a chilled Don Perignon to make a toast to more moments like this.
By the time the boat trip ends, there will be a chauffeur waiting for you who will take you back to the hotel.
